Deirdre, why can't we submit an a well justified e-petition to the Birmingham City web site that asks for action to be taken on a councillor leader who we feel is not doing their job properly?

I think a blog is a useful way of telling people things which are going on in the area and what the Council are doing. My blog really is a genuine web log - in other words my diary. It's not a discussion forum (there are plenty of those on the internet already) but people can email me with queries or points they wish to raise. Perhaps some Councillors don't blog because they think keeping it regularly updated will be a chore, but I don't find it to be. I think it's fun! Show less »

I think the government should have introduced a National Loan Guarantee Scheme as proposed by the Conservative opposition before Christmas, under which the government would back new bank lending to businesses...
