What are the personal benefits for you, of mainaining a blog, and why do you think more councillors don't do it?

I think a blog is a useful way of telling people things which are going on in the area and what the Council are doing. My blog really is a genuine web log - in other words my diary. It's not a discussion... Show more »I think a blog is a useful way of telling people things which are going on in the area and what the Council are doing. My blog really is a genuine web log - in other words my diary. It's not a discussion forum (there are plenty of those on the internet already) but people can email me with queries or points they wish to raise. Perhaps some Councillors don't blog because they think keeping it regularly updated will be a chore, but I don't find it to be. I think it's fun! Show less »
