UK debt accounts for 43% of GDP officially but thanks to Private Finance Initiatives much debt is hidden away! does that not mean that the average working man is lining the pockets of various financial institutions? i put it to you that it is the banking industry that controls government policy(why else would the government let them rob us?)and it is time that power was restored to parliament! can you not be the one to take them on? because you would have alot of people behind you, including me.( Ron Paul a US Senetor is doing just that in the US)

"You've said that your reason for resigning your seat was because you want Gordon brown to come out and argue the case for detention without trial for 42 days. Well, didn't he do that prior to the vote in the House - or have i missed something? Why should he come out and do it again for your benefit? And whilst I'm in the mood for asking questions, will you pay back the estimated 80,000 quid this totally frivolous gesture is going to cost the UK tax payer?"
