Show more »Would members of the next Labour government make sure that all British state pensioners receive their annual indexing, no matter where in the world they have to live in retirement. These pensioners and their employers have, of course, paid into the National Insurance Fund while working in the UK. This is a compulsory payment and the NIF does contain enough to cover indexed pensions, but some pensioners are denied indexing just because they retire in the wrong country. During the good years of the Labour Party they did nothing to help their own state pensioners abroad, despite many many letters asking them for help. What are your thoughts about this? Show less »
