Show more »I admire you very much, and would like to ask you why politics does not work for ordinary people. I think that the Conservatives, Bankers, Council Fat Cats, Influential millionaires escaping tax payment,and all people with money will find loopholes in avoiding tax payment. Nurses will not earn as much in a lifetime as some of the eton superstars do in one year. My suggestion however is universal. Let the ordinary workers with common sense and care, work together in one part of the country and leave the etonion carsalesmen to drown in their own stupidity. I probably will not get an answer but there is always room for hope. Show less »

Show more »Dear Diane Abbott It was so good to hear a cheerful sense of humour this morning when you were interviewed on BBC4. I would like to know what you think the Labour party should do about the plight of half our British state pensioners who have retired overseas, only to find their pensions frozen at the very first amount. Each year the value of their income drops, until it is worth practically nothing at all in very old age. The other half who live abroad receive their expected annually indexed pension because they happen to live in a different collection of countries. Do you agree that all pensioners should receive their fully indexed pensions, after paying into the National Insurance Fund while working in the UK, no matter where they live in retirement?
