Why don't we buy the opium instead of burning it? There is a world shortage of medical opium. Buying it from Afghan farmer would establish good relations rather than the opposite caused by current strategy of torching the only crop that grows really well there. Also ex O farmers go and join taliban. Plus illegal trade also funts taliban. Show less »
