I'd like to lend support to your campaign about the further change in pension age for women due to retire at 64 who must now wait until 66.
As a young woman I took the adivice to plan fo rthe future and arranged all my pension policies for an expected state pension date of 60.
Then it was changed to 64 and now to 66.
I feel distressed as now I am older any additional contract for the missing 6 years is prohibitively expensive now I am older. In the interim I had potentially lost £5K per year from age 60 a total of £30k. As I'll have to work, I shall still have to continue with National Insurance payments which would have stopped if I'd been drawing the pensionIf I had known this I would have taken steps.
I'm left witha real shortfall so I hope that, with support, you might be able to influence at least the problem of the second raising of state pension age for people like me.
Hope you can force some changes!
