Show more »In 2001 all 659 MPs were asked by The Democracy Trust to sign up to a 12 point public service standard/code as pledge to give selfless service to the electorate. The one page code promoted honesty, integrity, selflessness, integrity etc. It did not allow misuse of public funds nor personal financial benefits from office for MPs , their families or friends. 27 MPs endorsed that code. You did not. Will you now display leadership and endorse this or a similar code to restore public trust in our elected politicians ?
