When we joined the Common Market we were told we would be getting some goods more cheaply.  This never happened under any government.  All that has happened is that each successive government has Lied to the British people particularly regarding the creation of a superstate.  This was muted back before we joined and was kept quiet by the political elite.  So again I ask what are the benefits to us as citizens of the United Kingdom?  Also if the Lisbon treaty is ratified, why do we need you and your party or any party, since the EU will be in control? The fact is Europe needs us more than we need them.  The £90 billion pounds we give to Europe every year would be better spent on our own people.  Not being a member would also allow us to control our borders much more closely.  Why cannot we have a vote on this, since our membership is based on lies fed to the public since day one.
