Similarly, why is there no evidence of this critical research influencing the proposed changes to the curriculum? Show less »

Show more »How do the Liberal Democrats feel about the change in education policy, that started with the renaming of the Department for Children Schools and Families, to supposedly bring focus on 'core values', when all the evidence and research over the last few decades has increasingly shown that a child's learning is massively affected by their home environment. Will the Liberal Democrats be fighting to retain the excellent progress that the previous government made with its pilot schemes to provide mediatory support between schools and families.
