We have just recieved our non domestic business rates which should have 100% relief for small businesses. We have been charged £134 for the remaining 6 month period as our Rateable value is over £6000.
In the last 18 months trade has reduced so drastically that we have had to let go the 3 part time staff we previously hired and since Sept have been running our pub ourselves (man&wife). Our turnoveris down to under £100,000 (at it's best it has been £125,000). I would class us as a small business but according to your rating system we aren't. ISN'T THIS WRONG? Show less »
