Question
Simon Bradshaw
, The Australia Tibet Council is encouraging Australian athletes to protest at the Olympic Games against the human rights abuses perpetrated by China in Tibet. Firstly, this would undoubtedly antagonise Chinese athletes and intoduce bad feeling into the Games and secondly, is it fair to single out China as a country which abuses human rights? There are many other countries with less than perfect human rights records including the States with what they are doing in Guantanamo Bay which, as yet, your own country has refused to condemn?
