Show more »In the constituency where I live (Ipswich) the only person I have ever seen canvassing on my dorrstep was a Conservative candidate, and that was about 10 years ago. What are you going to do to ensure that you get people out on the doorsteps canvassing this time? The local candidate (Andrew Caan) is probably your best chance in years and many people are disillusioned like me - I normally vote conservative but I don't want another Blair. (Also, may I humbly suggest that you need to push more on the things where the Liberals are different - Local Income Tax, Higher Standard Pensions, Proportional Representation, Proper Fiscal Policy - these are the policies I'm going to vote for and I'm sure many other people would as well if there was more in the media about them).
