Show more »As someone who witnesses first hand on a regular basis the frustration and distress caused to businesses, voluntary sector organisations and communities  trying to engage in a meaningful way with WMRDA, what hope can you give us that a Conservative government would make them accountable, transparent, consistent and fair?  My examples of none of the above being in place  include one institution being required to submit 16 versions of a bid for funding and then being refused, another being told it was a perfect fit with funding, submitting partnership bid with weeks of work from VCS, Public Sector and other partners and then being told it didn't meet criteria despite the RDA providing an officer to support, different officers interpreting rules in different ways, wrong versions of application forms being provided, assessors being given previous versions to assess.  I could go on, but neither of us have all day.   So?
