Thanks to all who made suggestions for the BIS question I was called to ask on Thursday. Obviously I was unable to ask them all but there were some really interesting points raised and a number that I will be taking further through written questions and interventions in debates. You can keep track of these through www.theyworkforyou.com.

The question I chose came from a constituent who made me aware of a serious problem in Cambridge with the way visa applications are handled for academic visitors to the University. This is a really important issue for upholding the reputation that universities such as Cambridge have for educational research opportunities.
