I am trying to get my life back on track as I am so low. I ask pals can we do something. but always say they are busy. When I found out my fiance had cheated and he left, I cried and spoke to my pal on the phone. I was distraught and broken heated. She said "Guess what, I am getting married". She only known him 2 months!!! I couldnt believe how callous she was. I said I was so happy for her but not once did she say "im so sorry about your fiance." She didnt say " lets go out and cheer up" she just started planning her wedding and didnt say anything. On wkends, I phone to say shall we go out and they just say "No cant sorry, Im with my guy, or cant afford it". I suggested a simple night or cheap night but none of them are budging!! My pal asked me to come up for New years. I then found out she was only girl and thats why she wanted me there. I couldnt make it cos I had to meet my bro's g/friend. Pal met me up for coffee and said "you are not my maid of honour any more cos I havent seen you much" I was amazed. She also said Im not a bridsmaid. Her room mate of 1 year is her maid of honour where by I have known her 12years!!!! I am completely cut out of the wedding. It was my Birthday Friday and I spent my last yr alone. I asked all my pals to come out becuase I had broken up with my guy and it was the 1st birthday without him in 8 yrs and they all said they were with their guys so no!! I have always been out on their birthdays! If it was me I would have dragged them to cheer them up but they refused. My pal text me out of the blue with "How are you?" I said Im fine thanks and she replied "guess where i am, just about to go to Grand Canaria with my guy, see you when I return" Is that why she text me??????? I asked if my pals if they want to come out with me for my birthday and my friend said she had a great idea. I should go up to her house, and have a drink with a video so she wouldnt have to leave her boyfriend in. I went and the 1st thing her fiance said when I got in was "we have booked our honeymoon!" I was polite and said "lovely" etc but he carried on saying "i would NEVER cheat on Em, she is beautiful, I love her and we will be together 4ever." There was so much whispering and I heard him say "this will annoy her" then she tickled his back. What is wrong with them? I never behaved like that when I was with my guy. He spent all ngt calling her sweetheart, he is 21 and she is 29! Then she kept on about her wedding and her maids dresses. I felt like saying "im not in it so be quiet" Im not horrible but it seem sthe only reason she wanted me there was to talk abou the wedding, not my birthday which is why she asked me up? Then at 10:30 she said "bedtime" Bedtime??? At 10:30 on my birthday?? There was no drink, nothing like I thought. I went to bed politely and left at 5am when they were still asleep. I asked my pal how her maid of honour is getting on and she said "oh I dont see her anymore cos she got a boyfriend" I told her "yes I know the feeling" So her maid of honour who is never there for her is still her maid of honour and me, the prat who still sees her and listens to all her plans etc isnt even in the wedding. something wrong here? I have had enoug of life and feel so depressed. I feel like lifes ebbing away and I want to find the quickest way out and go retire to my cloud now! Ps I never neglected my pals when I was with fiance. Always out with them and maybe cancelled twice in 8yrs. Even went out New Years, Christmas and then saw my guy. I always split the time between them. what the hell is wrong with me / or them????? Show less »
